Girls With Guns

Today was Range Day for my hunter safety class--it was awesome! I really enjoyed target and skeet shooting. I managed to blast one skeet, and hit the target every time while target shooting. My sister and I both passed the class. I'm hoping to go turkey hunting when the season opens!!

Bob and Weekends

Those of you with Face book have probably seen that little character, "Bob", running around trying to take over the site. Personally, I find him intensely annoying, but someone I know hasn't seen him yet (gasp!). So, if anyone sees him, please copy and paste him into a comment or something so I can show her. Thank you! :)

The weekend is finally here!!!!!!!! Not that I get to sleep in--I never do. But that's okay, because it means I'm earning money :). But, I actually went to work today instead of tomorrow because my hunter safety class has range day tomorrow. So excited!!! Which means I better get to bed. Good night!

Just One Crazy Thing After Another...

While I sat at home doing school, my mom, brother, and sister all went shopping in Yakima. Robbie (of course), went to this coin shop and got a bunch of new old coins. He was quite excited when he showed me his new silver coins, which he had in a brown paper bag. Until a few minutes ago, he was sitting on the couch poring over them. Really, they don't interest me. I mean, it's cool that they're a piece of history and everything, but really...I think there are better things to do with time then to sit around cleaning old coins. But hey, to each his/her own.

Two more days of hunter safety class left. I can't wait until hunting season comes around and I can go out and hunt! Just shooting my .243 is no longer enough ;). Field day is definitely going to be fun.

ROFL my mom is looking through old photos, and she keeps showing me all these photos from when my brother and I were little. Some of them are pretty funny. Like, there's one where I'm posing in front of a statue with my hand on the back of my head--yup! a model pose! So, if any one's wondering, yes I've always been a diva! ;P

OH, and as everyone knows, the Healthcare bill was passed last Sunday night. I haven't read it yet, but when I do, I'm going to do kind of an analysis of it and write up why I'm against it, so stay tuned...

Well, Here I Go!

So, for a couple of years now, I've wanted a blog. Ever since I first heard of them, I always thought they were a great idea. But, then I got Face book, and blogging fell by the wayside. But, so much has been happening lately, and my life has been getting crazier, and it's really hard to post all that on Face book. So, here is my blog, all ready for you to read. I'll be posting things I do, places I go, classes I take, stuff I paint/draw/write. . .basically just life in general. Hope I don't bore y'all to death. But anywho, I'm ready to really personalize this, so I shall now hit "publish" and start playing around!

P.S. When I say start playing around, I mean it! Don't be surprised if the templates change a lot! ;-)
